Our Curriculum

At Fun Square Early Learning Center, we provide a high-quality early childhood education program guided by the Maryland Early Learning Standards. Our curriculum is designed to support every aspect of a child's growth through age-appropriate, hands-on, and play-based learning experiences.

We focus on five key developmental domains:

• Language and Literacy: Developing communication, vocabulary, early reading, and writing skills. 
• Early Cognition and STEAM: Exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through engaging activities that promote critical thinking and discovery. 
• Physical Well-Being and Motor Development: Supporting healthy growth, coordination, and both fine and gross motor skills.

Children enjoy engaging weekly enrichment classes designed to support whole-child development and spark curiosity beyond the core curriculum.

Our weekly programs include:

• Zumbini: Interactive music and movement classes that promote coordination and self-expression through songs, dance, and instrument play
• Spanish: Building early language skills and cultural awareness through fun, interactive learning
• Mandarin: Introducing children to a second world language to strengthen communication and cognitive development
• Science: Inspiring hands-on exploration, discovery, and critical thinking through age-appropriate experiments and activities
